Realstone are working closely with the Carbon Trust, to help our business reduce the effect on the environment. This is to enable Realstone to identify carbon emission reduction initiatives.

Natural stone is already one of, if not the best building materials when considering the effect its creation has on the environment. It is also an eminently renewable resource. Realstone have identified and agreed a core team and evaluated the business case in terms of risks and opportunities that climate change presents to the business. A full independent survey has been commissioned and the full results are awaited. This will help identify cost-effective ways to cut emissions and save money whilst helping the environment. The plan will be developed to deliver maximum benefit to both the environment and to the business. Reporting and monitoring will be an important aspect of maintaining hold of the objectives.
